For a small town, Samaipata has a good range of hotels and places to stay. Since it is a popular weekend and holiday getaway for people from Santa Cruz, many hotels fill up quickly, this is particular true between October and April when people come to Samaipata to escape the heat of Santa Cruz.

Located on Calle Ezequiel Arteaga, hotel has clean rooms with your choice of private or shared baths. Room rates range from $10-$20 per night depending on the room type. Hotel features a spacious garden area, completely enclosed for privacy, balcony terraces with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. Hotel also offers Spanish language classes taught by Rosario Castro de Wauson.

El Pueblito Eco Resort
This is newer unique hotel that is a small replica of a colonial town. The hotel offers beautiful views of the entire mountain valley. The colonial style houses are creatively decorated and the rooms are differentiated by themes, guests can choose to stay in "blacksmith shop", "the bookstore", "the flower shop" and many other themes. Average room rate is $25-$30 per night.

Hotel Amboro
Located near the plaza, it is one of the popular places to stay. Average room rate is $10-$15 per night. Hotel will make arrangements for adventure tours around the area.
