Aqualand

For a great place to cool off in the heat of Santa Cruz go to Aqualand. Aqualand is a water park just north of the city near the Viru Viru International Airport.

It is Bolivia's most modern and largest water park that has a capacity of 5,000 people. The aquatic park has many attractions and consists of 6 water slides, a wave pool and a lazy river with a swim up bar.

There is play area for children that feature small water slides and a kids pool. There are also many fast food restaurants at the park to accommodate your hunger.

The park is open Friday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm and might be closed on rainy days. It is open from September to May of each year and is closed during the winter months of Bolivia from June to August. The entry fee is $10 for a full-day & $5 for a half-day.

The best way to get here is by taxi 35Bs (around $5 to $6US).There is also a free bus that leaves from the Cine Center to Aquland 3 times each morning.
