Capital: Sucre is the constitutional capital and La Paz is the administrative capital - the seat of the government.

President: Current president is Evo Morales. Presidents serve a single five-year term. Evo Morales was elected on December 18, 2005 and was re-elected in December of 2009 for a second term.

Languages Spoken: Spanish is the predominant language spoken in Bolivia. Indigenous languages such as Quechua or Aymara is also spoken in small mountain villages.
