Shopping in La Paz, Bolivia is definitely an experience you'll never forget. La Paz is like one big shopping market where you'll find numerous markets, street vendors and shops that sell everything you can imagine throughout the city.

Along Calle Sagarnaga and the surrounding streets you'll find a street dotted with shops and street stalls that sell many handmade or handicraft items and souvenirs. You can find items such as textiles, leather clothing, alpaca sweaters, panchos and many other items.

Around Plaza San Francisco there is a market area. Such as the market in the gallery next to the church on Plaza San Francisco, where you can find many good handicraft items. Also near Plaza San Francisco is a food market called Mercado Lanza that sell fresh fruits, vegetables and other foods.
